The baby room within the crèche has a cosy safe environment for the children to grow and develop.

The nursery school staff within the baby room has many years experience working with very young children aging between 3 months to 5 years old.

The crèche staff plans and follow the Birth to Three matters framework which provides the children with many new experiences and opportunities to develop in all areas.

The Governments ‘Birth to Three Matters’ framework is used by Childcare Officers to support and stimulate the children within that age group.

The framework has as its focus, the children. It identifies four ‘Aspects’, which celebrate the skill and competence of babies and young children and highlights the inter relationship between growth, learning development and the environment in which they are cared for and educated.

The ‘Aspects’ are further broken down into components such as:

These four ‘Aspects’ help practitioners to ensure that they address all areas of child development. Whether participating in planned activities or having a cuddle, within the baby room or older group rooms, staff will be mindful of each child’s individual needs and will recognise, value and celebrate the child’s efforts and achievements.

The crèche staff within the baby room and older group rooms will work together to ensure that as children progress through the nursery they are provided with support and encouragement, in order to enjoy and learn from the balance of adult directed and child initiated activities available.

If you have any questions regarding our crèche services or would like to ask a member of the nursery school staff a question please do not hesitate to contact us.
